For the past few months, we’ve been analyzing ZIP codes in terms of their home values, and going state by state to identify the most expensive ones. Through a deep analysis of monthly home values, plus financial data from the Census Bureau, we’ve identified the most expensive ZIP codes in Rocky Mountain states such as Montana, Colorado, and Utah, among others.

Now, we’re turning to the most expensive ZIP codes in Wyoming. So, read on to find out the most expensive ZIP codes in Wyoming in 2024, relying on data from Zillow’s home value index and the Census Bureau.

The Most Expensive ZIP Codes In Wyoming

Zillow’s home value index tracks monthly home values for all types of homes on a monthly basis. For Wyoming, as of December 2024, it tracks 95 ZIP codes. Home values across most of Wyoming’s ZIP codes have seen historic growth since the pandemic hit in 2020. Growth stabilized in 2023, but prices and values are still at all-time highs.

As part of our analysis, we took into consideration the latest monthly home values Zillow has — December 2024 — as well as the average of 12 months of median home values from January 2024 to December 2024, in order to gain a fuller picture. Below are the 25 most expensive ZIP codes in Wyoming.

The Top 5 Most Expensive ZIP Codes In Wyoming

The No. 1 most expensive ZIP code in Wyoming is 83025, which is centered on Teton Village, including the famous Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Incomes here are high, but display the disparity in incomes that’s common in resort areas. The median household income is $99,315, while the average household income is significantly higher, at $208,155. This ZIP code was already expensive five years ago. Its median home value in December 2019 was well over $1.995 million. It then proceeded to rise by an incredible 74.5%, reaching $3.482 million in December 2024.

The second most expensive ZIP code, which is 83014, is massive and surrounds the No. 1 most expensive ZIP code. ZIP code 83014 stretches from Palisades Reservoir (near the Idaho border) in the south, to Phelps Lake in the north. This ZIP code covers both suburbs and resort areas in the mountains. Thus, its income distribution is similar to the breakdown in ZIP code 83025. The median household income in 83014 is $92,128, but the average household income is $174,847. If you thought the 74.5% home value appreciation in 83025 was a lot, the home value growth in 83014 is even greater. The median home value was over $1.695 million in December 2019. Over the next five years, the median soared by 84.4%. The median home value now is more than $3.126 million.

The No. 3 most expensive ZIP code in Wyoming is 83001. This ZIP code covers a large area east and southeast of the No. 1 most expensive ZIP code. This ZIP code is centered on Jackson and includes South Park, Hoback, Jack Pine, Moose, and Kelly. More than a quarter of households here earn $200,000 or more per year. The median household income is $114,402 and the average household income is $179,405. Home value growth in ZIP code 83001 has been startling, to say the least. The median home value nearly doubled over the last five years. The median home value was just under $1.030 million in December 2019, before surging by 91.2% to reach over $1.969 million by December 2024. The 12-month average home value is even higher, at $2.008 million.

The fourth most expensive ZIP code in Wyoming is 83414, which is right in the same neighborhood as the top three most expensive ZIP codes. Centered on Alta, ZIP code 83414 covers a vast area that includes Grand Teton and much of Jackson Lake. Income distribution here is interesting. Usually, a place’s average household income is higher than its median. But in 83414, the average household income is $148,376 versus a median of $166,310. The reason for this is that only 17% of households earn $200,000 or more, while 40.6% earn between $150,000 and $200,000. Once again, home value appreciation in this Wyoming ZIP code was absurd. Five years ago, the median home value was still under a million, at $928,693. By December 2024, the median had jumped by 94.6% and now stands at over $1.807 million.

The fifth most expensive ZIP code in Wyoming is 83013, which is centered on Moran and covers Jackson Lake, Jackson Lake Dam, and the whole area northeast, up to Hawks Rest. Just under 30% of households in 83013 earn $200,000 or more a year. The median and mean household incomes are close to each other, at $136,292 and $143,957, respectively. This is another ZIP code where home values almost doubled. From a median of $883,138 in December 2019, home values rocketed by 84.7%, reaching $1.631 million in December 2024.
