American Banker is now accepting applications for the Best Credit Unions to Work For 2025.

Best Credit Unions to Work For is an annual program that credit union executives can apply for, and it recognizes employers of choice within the credit union industry. The honorees include institutions with strong benefits for staff members, effective communication from executives and a fun work environment that employees love going to every day. The list is created in partnership with the Best Companies Group.

There is no fee to participate. To qualify, applicants must have at least 15 employees working in the U.S. and must have been open for business for at least a year.

The Best Companies Group determines the list based on two assessments. The first is a thorough questionnaire that each institution must complete regarding employee benefits and policies. Secondly, staff members take an in-depth survey about their experiences working for that credit union.

Coverage for 2024 included feature pieces about specific honorees in addition to leadership advice from the management teams at the 70 credit unions that make the list. All of the past coverage can be found here.

The registration deadline is April 18. Please send any questions to Mary Ellen Egan at maryellen.egan@arizent.com.

Please see the Best Companies Group‘s website for additional information, including how to register for the program.
