Tesco and Asda Rank Second and Third for the Cheapest Weekly Shop
In second place is Tesco, with an average weekly shop costing £49.28. Tesco’s prices are close to Aldi’s, with baked beans priced at £0.28, penne pasta at £0.41, and a loaf of white bread at £0.47.
Asda follows closely behind in third place, with an average weekly shop costing £52.76. While Asda’s prices are higher than Aldi’s and Tesco’s, it still offers competitive value, with baked beans priced at £0.43, penne pasta at £0.69, and a loaf of bread at £0.74.
